Why is there a minimum charge?
Because the trip is the expensive part, not the minutes. A visit costs the same in travel, setup and a booked slot whether the job takes twenty minutes or two hours. That is why the minimum exists and why the second hour is effectively already paid for once you have booked.
Can I send you a list and get a price before you come?
Yes, and it is the best way to do it. Send the list on WhatsApp, with photos of anything unusual. I will tell you honestly which items fit and how long the visit should take, and you get a number before committing.
How many jobs can you get through in one visit?
It depends entirely on the list. Five small jobs like handles and pictures might take an hour. A door that needs rehanging plus a TV mount plus two curtain rails is closer to half a day. Send the list and you will get a realistic answer rather than an optimistic one.
What if a job turns out to be bigger than expected?
Work stops and you get told. Every trade has jobs that only reveal themselves once something is open. The rule is simple: no surprise on the invoice. If the scope changes, we agree on it before it continues.
